Attorney Nicholas W. Christoph is a true San Diego local. Born and raised in San Diego County, he graduated from Carlsbad High School and then attained his Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies with a Minor in Economics from the University of San Diego where he made the Dean’s List on several different occasions.

While in college, Nick worked as a licensed Coast Guard yacht Captain, and when he wasn’t studying or surfing, he could be found teaching people to sail in beautiful San Diego Bay.

After attaining his bachelors Degree he went on to work at the City of Encinitas Sormwater Department where he helped to protect and preserve the local beaches. Shortly after, he began to pursue his law degree at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego.

During his time at Thomas Jefferson School of Law he emphasized in Criminal Law both domestically and internationally. Due to his academic excellence, he was awarded a fellowship with the Center for Global Legal Studies. In his pursuit to learn how the Rule of Law differs around the world, Nick attended the prestigious University of Nice School of Law in Nice, France. While in Europe, he was exposed to a variety of judicial systems and gained a new perspective that led to a true appreciation for the unique American judicial system.

Back in San Diego, Nick completed his legal education while interning at the Public Defender’s Office and at a non-profit environmental law and policy clinic. He graduated Thomas Jefferson School of Law with Cum Laude Honors, Pro Bono Honors, and as a Fellow of the Center for Global Legal Studies.

After graduation, he pursued his passion and joined his father at the Christoph Law Offices in protecting the (uniquely American) rights of people charged with a crime. While practicing criminal defense his practice has grown to emphasize Drunk Driving Defense and related matters.
