Robbery

Robbery in San Diego is a serious felony, and a conviction for robbery can result in a “strike” under California’s 3 Strikes Law.

Robbery is defined as “the felonious taking of personal property in the possession of another, from his person or immediate presence, and against his will, accomplished by means of force or fear.” California Penal Code §211.

Burglary

Similarly to Robbery, Burglary in San Diego can also be a serious felony resulting in a “strike” on a person’s record if convicted.

Under Penal Code Section 459, any person who enters a building with the intent to steal or with the intent to commit any felony is guilty of burglary.
